Autism Spectrum Quotient -- 10-item Short Form

Ten questions. This is the short-form version of the Autism-Spectrum Quotient used in clinical settings as a starting point for referral discussions. A note on how it scores: some of these questions score on "agree" and some on "disagree" -- that is by design. Just answer honestly and the scoring handles itself.

For each statement below, indicate how much you agree or disagree.

Question 6 of 10I know how to tell if someone listening to me is getting bored.

If you are in crisis or need to talk to someone right now: call or text 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline, available across Canada, 24 hours a day). You do not need to be in immediate danger to call.
What you can do with this
Bring it in Tell your doctor your score. "I did the AQ-10 and scored [X]" gives them a concrete starting point for a referral conversation.
Share it Show it to someone you trust. Sometimes having words for it is the first step.
Keep it You do not have to do anything with it right now. Sometimes just recognising the pattern matters.
